Norton Named Vice President, Meetings & Trade Shows at
HMP Communications, LLC
Leading medical communications company looks to build meetings/trade show portfolio
Malvern, PA (November 13, 2007) – HMP Communications, LLC, the authoritative source for comprehensive information and education serving healthcare professionals, announced today that Bill Norton has been named vice president, meetings & trade shows. Norton previously managed more than 50 biopharmaceutical conferences where he developed targeted sponsorship opportunities. He also directed operations for leading trade and professional events in the nursing, pharmaceutical and medical fields. Norton will report to HMP’s President & CEO Paul Mackler.

Norton has more than 20 years of experience in the trade show and conference arena, developing opportunities for industry professionals to interact and network on issues affecting their industry. He has served in a variety of capacities including group show director, conference group director, general manager for a multi-million dollar trade show organization and most recently, executive vice president for an association management firm.
During his career, Norton has been a key advocate for launching programs that market directly to professionals and enhance customer touch points. As executive vice president of Fernley & Fernley, Inc., a national association management company, Bill was responsible for communications, marketing, advertising and new business development.
